Fazer algo girar ou mover-se em círculo, ou girar fisicamente o seu corpo ou um objeto. Também pode significar mudar de direção ao virar.

Usado de forma literal (girar algo) ou figurativa (mudar o sentido). Muito usado em instruções ou descrições de movimentos. Não confundir com apenas 'twist', que pode ser apenas torcer ou distorcer, sem o sentido total de 'around'.
