'trim off' সাধারণত অতিরিক্ত অংশ বা প্রান্ত কেটে ফেলার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন চুল, গাছ, খাবারের প্রান্ত ইত্যাদি। বেশি অর্থ প্রকাশ করে কেটে ফেলে দেওয়া। খুব অফিসিয়াল নয়।
