Deshacerse de algo tirándolo a la basura o desechándolo porque ya no se necesita o no se quiere.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Expresión informal y muy común. Se usa principalmente con objetos físicos, pero también para desaprovechar oportunidades ('throw away a chance'). No confundir con 'throw out', que puede significar 'expulsar'. Aparece mucho en instrucciones: 'throw away the wrapper'.
