チャンスをつかむ思い切ってやる

Definition

リスクや不確かさがあっても、思い切って何かに挑戦することや、チャンスが来た時にそれを活かすこと。

不確かな場面やリスクがある時によく使う表現。「just」「might as well」と組み合わせたり「take a chance」とも言う。ややカジュアル。

If you want the job, you should take your chance and apply.

仕事が欲しいなら、**チャンスをつかんで**応募したほうがいいよ。
