"take on water" in Japanese
Definition
船が浸水しているとは、損傷や穴から水が入ってきている状態を指します。比喩的に使うと、問題が大きくなっているという意味もあります。

主に船に関して使用。比喩的には、計画や組織が問題を抱え始めた時にも使う。通常これ以外の場面では使われない。
