Definition

공중에서 부드럽고 빠르게, 주로 곡선이나 갑작스러운 움직임으로 아래로 내려오는 것. 주로 새나 물체가 그렇게 움직일 때 사용된다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 새나 물체가 빠르게 아래로 내려오는 동작을 표현할 때 쓴다. 느리게 떨어질 때는 사용하지 않는다. 'swooping down'과 같이 함께 쓴다.
