"swooping" in Japanese

Definition

空中をなめらかに、しかも素早く下向きに動くこと。鳥や物が曲線を描くように降りる様子。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に鳥や物が下向きに急に動く時に使う。「swooping down」は特に急降下を表す。ゆっくり落ちる動きには使わない。
