Bir binanın, köprünün veya yapının genellikle görünmeyen, alt ve destekleyici kısmıdır. Daha genel olarak herhangi bir şeyin temel altyapısını da ifade edebilir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Mühendislik ve inşaatta teknik olarak kullanılır. Üst yapı (‘superstructure’) ile karıştırılmamalıdır; daha çok görünmeyen alt kısmı anlatır.
