目標や成功のために、一生懸命に努力し続けること。特に困難な場合に使われます。

‘Striving’は「try」よりもフォーマルで、長期的で粘り強い努力を表す。'striving for excellence'のような表現で使われる。短期的・簡単な行動には使わない。
