Definition

誰かや何かを動かずに長い間じっと見つめること。相手に不快感を与えることが多い。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

たいてい否定的な印象や無礼さを含む場合が多い。'look at'（普通）や 'glance at'（さっと見る）とは違う。'stare at the screen', 'stare at someone' などとよく使う。
