細かいところまで注意せず、ざっと全体の内容を把握するために素早く読むこと。

カジュアルな表現で、本や記事、メールなどに使うことが多いです。「scan」とは異なり、具体的な情報を探す場合は使いません。じっくり読む時には使いません。
