何か（特に利益や責任、経験など）を他の人と一緒に経験したり関わったりすること。

'share in'は主に良いこと（成功や報酬）にも悪いこと（責任や非難）にも使われます。「share」とは違い、単に分け合うのではなく、一緒に関わる意味です。名詞と一緒に使うのが一般的で、ややフォーマルな表現。
