Definition
一种用便宜材料搭建的小房子，通常出现在贫困地区。“Shanty”也可以指水手们唱的传统歌曲（sea shanty）。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))
通常用于描述贫困地区的简陋住宅，偏书面或文学用法。“Shanty town”指有许多这种小屋的地区。不等于“别墅”等词。用于歌曲时需说“sea shanty”。
