目やには、睡眠中や体調不良、アレルギーの時などに目や鼻にたまる薄い粘液です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

とてもフォーマルまたは医学用語で、日常会話ではほとんど使われません。「目やに」と言うのが一般的です。「膿（うみ）」とは異なります。
