রেডিং হলো তুলা বা ফ্ল্যাক্সের মতো তন্তুগুলোকে আলাদা ও গুছিয়ে নেওয়ার প্রক্রিয়া, যাতে সেগুলো সুতা বা কাপড় তৈরিতে ব্যবহার করা যায়।

'Redding' এক্ষেত্রে টেক্সটাইল বা ইতিহাসে ব্যবহৃত পুরনো শব্দ; সাধারণ কথোপকথনে নয়। আধুনিক শব্দ: 'combing' বা 'carding'।
