とても急いで走り去ること。たいていは急いでいる時や何かを避けたい時に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口語で使われる非公式な表現。「dash off」や「run off」に似ていますが、より速さを強調します。ゆっくり去る場合には使いません。
