Definition

जब आप जहाज़ या विमान के आगे की तरफ़ देख रहे होते हैं तो उसका बाएँ तरफ़ वाला हिस्सा।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

"Portside" शब्द मुख्य रूप से समुद्री या विमानन परिप्रेक्ष्य में उपयोग होता है, और यह आगे की दिशा में देख रहे व्यक्ति के बाएं तरफ़ को दर्शाता है। इसका विपरीत "starboard" (दायाँ) है। रोज़मर्रा की भाषा में प्रयोग नहीं होता।
