何かが物の後ろから一部だけ出てくること、または何かを押し出して一部が見えるようにすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話やくだけた表現でよく使う。「poke out of」「poke out from under」などの形で物や体の一部がちらっと見える時に使う。「poke」（突く）と意味が異なる。
