Definition

কারো বা কিছু বিপদ এড়াতে নিজেকে মৃত বলে দেখানো, বা তেমন আচরণ করা। প্রায়শই বিপদ থেকে বাঁচার জন্য বা কাউকে ধোঁকা দেওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহার হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'play dead' সাধারণত অপ্রচলিত ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং প্রাণী বা মানুষের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে। 'act dead' অপেক্ষাকৃত কম ব্যবহৃত; 'pretend to sleep' থেকে পৃথক।
