Definition

「plated」は物が薄い金属で覆われている場合や、料理が美しく盛り付けられている場合に使います。主にジュエリーや料理の盛り付けでよく使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ゴールドメッキ」「シルバーメッキ」のように金属に関して使われます。料理では「美しく盛り付けられた」として使われ、ただ皿に盛るのとは異なります。
