কেউ যদি কোনো সমস্যা বা দোষের দায়ভার নিজের ওপরে না নিয়ে অন্যের ওপর চাপাতে চায়, তখন এটি ব্যবহার হয়।

অফিস, দলগত কাজে বা দায়িত্ব এড়াতে এই শব্দগুচ্ছটি নানান পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহার করা যায়। বস্তু বা অর্থের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
