話や文章の意味を変えずに、別の言葉でわかりやすく言い換えることです。主に説明をわかりやすくするために使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'Paraphrase'は動詞としても名詞としても使われ、特に学術的な場面でよく使われます（例：'to paraphrase a quote'）。ただ単に言葉を変えるのではなく、意味をきちんと自身の表現で伝えることが重要です。'Summarize'（要約）とは異なり、短くせず意味をそのままにします。
