Definition

把食物煮得太久，使其变得干、硬，或失去最佳口感和味道。

通常指食物因为煮得太久而变差，适用于蔬菜、肉类、面食等。不要与“burn”（烧焦）混淆。“Overcooked”是形容词形式。
