Birisi 'on the level' ise dürüst ve güvenilirdir, kimseyi kandırmaya çalışmaz.

Daha çok günlük ve samimi konuşmalarda kullanılır. Birinin veya bir işin güvenilir ve dürüst olup olmadığını sormak ya da belirtmek için kullanılır. 'Is he on the level?' gibi sorularda sık geçer.
