কেউ যদি 'on the level' হয়, তাহলে সে সৎ এবং বিশ্বাসযোগ্য। সে কাউকে ঠকানোর চেষ্টা করছে না এবং খোলামেলা আচরণ করছে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অফিসিয়াল নয়, আলাপচারিতায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'Is he on the level?' দিয়ে কাউকে বিশ্বাসযোগ্য কিনা বোঝানো হয়। 'সব কিছু on the level' বললে পরিস্থিতি সঠিক ও সৎ বুঝায়।
