さあ行って行きなさい

Definition

誰かに優しく、何かを促すときに使う表現で、特に冗談っぽくやさしい雰囲気で「行きなさい」と伝えるときに使います。

よく子どもやペット、童話などで使われます。「off you go」「run along」と同じ雰囲気。厳しい場面では使いません。

Off with you, it's time for bed.

**さあ行って**、もう寝る時間だよ。

The teacher smiled and said, 'Off with you to recess!'

先生は微笑んで「**さあ行って**、休み時間よ！」と言いました。
