Definition

「off board」は、物理的にボードやプラットフォームの上にいないこと（ゲームなど）、または電車、バス、船、飛行機などの乗り物から降りることを意味します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に技術的、ボードゲーム、交通の文脈で使われます。ゲームでは盤面の外、交通では乗り物から降りること。不適切な日常会話では使いません。「onboard」と混同しないようにしてください。
