Usage Notes (Bengali)

'মাতৃভূমি' শব্দটি খুব আন্তরিক বা আবেগঘন পরিস্থিতিতে ব্যবহৃত হয়; সাধারণত দেশপ্রেম প্রকাশে ও কবিতায় শোনা যায়। 'home country' বা 'homeland' থেকে বেশি গম্ভীর।
