두 개 이상의 요소(특히 노래나 스타일)을 하나의 새로운 것으로 합치는 것. 원본의 부분이 알아볼 수 있게 남아있는 경우가 많아요.

"Mash up"는 비격식 표현으로 음악, 팝컬처, IT에서 흔히 써요. 명사 또는 동사로 쓰임. 음악 외에도 장르, 영상, 데이터 혼합에도 사용. "mash"(음식 으깨다)와 혼동하지 마세요. 예: "노래 mash up".
