誰かの欠点や過ちをあえて気にせず、大事なことに目を向けること。時には何かに影響されない意味もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

他人の短所や失敗を受け流す、または許す時によく使います。'can't look past...'は、どうしても気にしてしまう時によく見かけます。
