समस्याओं, गलतियों या बुरे व्यवहार को नजरअंदाज़ करना, बजाय कि उन्हें ठीक किया जाए; जब कुछ करना चाहिए तब कुछ न करना।

यह अनौपचारिक है और तब इस्तेमाल होता है जब कोई छोटा मुद्दा अनदेखा कर देता है। 'let it slide' एक बार के लिए, 'let things slide' बार-बार के लिए। इसमें आलस्य, थकान या टकराव से बचना हो सकता है।
