Definition
ラッチなどの留め具でしっかり閉めたり固定したりすること。または、赤ちゃんが授乳時にしっかりと乳首をくわえること。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
技術・機械や授乳の話題でよく使う。一般的な「ロック」や「閉める」とは異なり、特定の仕組みや動作を指す。「good latching」は授乳時の良好な吸着の意味。
