Definition

特に目的もなく、のんびりといろいろな場所を歩き回ったり過ごしたりすること。また、物を乱暴に扱う意味もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルな言い方で、特に気ままに過ごす時によく使う。「knock around the city」は「街をぶらぶらする」という意味。物に対して使うときは「乱暴に扱う」になる。他の表現と混同しないよう注意。
