弔鐘終焉の鐘（比喩的）
Definition
ゆっくりとした悲しい鐘の音で、特に葬式で鳴らされるもの。比喩的に、何か悪いことの前触れを指すこともある。

文学的で形式的な表現。'death knell' は「終焉の鐘」など、終わりを意味する比喩でもよく使われます。日常会話ではほとんど使いません。
