用務員は学校やオフィス、アパートなどの建物を掃除し、管理する人のことです。場合によってはカストディアンとも呼ばれます。

「用務員」は学校やオフィスなどの大きな建物で使われ、小型の家庭には使いません。「管理人」や「清掃員」とも呼ばれることがありますが、コンシェルジュと混同しないよう注意してください。
