갑자기 세게 밟다. 주로 차량의 브레이크나 페달에 사용된다.

주로 구어체에서 차량 관련해 사용합니다. 'jam on the brakes'는 긴급히 브레이크를 밟을 때 씁니다. 'step on'과는 다릅니다.
