Definition
গ্লেশিয়ার থেকে ভেঙে পড়া বড় বরফের টুকরো যা সাগরে ভেসে থাকে। এগুলোর বেশিরভাগ অংশ পানির নিচে থাকে, ওপরের অংশ অল্প দেখা যায়।

এটি বিজ্ঞান ও ভূগোল আলোচনায় এবং ঠান্ডা সামুদ্রিক পরিবেশ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'tip of the iceberg' বলতে সমস্যার সামান্য অংশ বোঝানো হয়, বাকিটা অজানা।
