Definition

「ハイポ」は低血糖発作の略で、特に糖尿病の人が血糖値が下がりすぎた時に使います。日常会話や医療現場で使われる表現です。

「ハイポ」は糖尿病の方や医療従事者が口語でよく使います。正式な書類では「低血糖」と書きます。「しゃっくり（hiccup）」とは全く違います。
