実際には存在しない音や声が聞こえると感じること。勘違いや想像で聞こえる場合もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

カジュアルな表現。実際にない音が聞こえた時や勘違いした時に使う。'I'm not crazy, I just hear things sometimes!' という感覚で使われる。
