Definition

小さな声で文句を言ったり、不満をぶつぶつ言うこと。他の人にも聞こえる程度の声で話すことが多い。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

くだけた会話や小さな不満で使われる。'grumble about'（〜について不満を言う）、'grumble to oneself'（一人でぶつぶつ言う）などの使い方が多い。強い不満ではなく、軽いぼやきや文句に使う。
