যে ব্যক্তি বা চিন্তাধারা পুরনো মূল্যবোধ, রীতি বা পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে এবং আধুনিক পরিবর্তনের তুলনায় কিছুটা পুরনো বলা যায়।

সাধারণত ব্যক্তির প্রশংসায় বা কখনও হাস্যরসের সাথে ব্যবহার হয়। 'He/She is...' বা 'I'm...' দিয়ে শুরু হয়। ব্যক্তি, আদর্শ বা অভ্যাস বর্ণনায় ব্যবহৃত।
