কিছু জিনিসে বিশেষ করে কোনও গঠন, পাইপ বা দেহের অংশে যেখানে মোচড় বা বাঁক হয়ে থাকে, সেটি ফ্লেক্সার।

'Flexure' সাধারণত প্রযুক্তিগত, ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বা চিকিৎসা ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়, দৈনন্দিন কথায় নয়। 'flexibility' বা 'fold' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
