'fit out' çoğunlukla İngiliz İngilizcesinde kullanılır ve daha çok dükkan, ofis, tekne gibi yerlerde geçerlidir; kıyafetler için tercih edilmez. 'fit out with' ya da 'fit-out' şeklinde de rastlanabilir.
