대신하다대타로 일하다

Definition

누군가 자리에 없을 때 그 사람의 일을 임시로 대신 맡는 것.

일시적으로만 사용하며 직장이나 학교에서 많이 쓰임. 'replace(교체하다)'와 혼동하지 않도록 주의. 보통 '누구 대신하다' 식으로 사용됨.

Can you fill in for me at work tomorrow?

내일 직장에서 나를 **대신해줄** 수 있어?

I will fill in for Sarah while she is on vacation.

사라가 휴가 가 있는 동안 내가 **대신할게**.
