Definition

কেউ যদি 'entitled to do' কোনো কিছু হয়, তার মানে সে আইনগত, সরকারিভাবে বা নৈতিকভাবে সেটি করার অধিকার রাখে; তাকে এই কাজটি করতে অনুমতি দেওয়া হয়েছে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত অফিসিয়াল, আইনগত বা চুক্তির প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'entitled to receive', 'entitled to claim', 'entitled to benefits'— এসব কমন ওয়াক্‌ফ্রেজ। 'title' (শিরোনাম) বা 'entitled' (অহংকারী অর্থে) এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
