Definition

أن تعلّم شيئًا أو تؤكد عليه مرارًا حتى يُتعلّم أو يُحفظ جيدًا، غالبًا من خلال التكرار.

تُستخدم غالبًا بصفة غير رسمية في التعليم أو التربية، وليس بمعنى الحفر الحقيقي. مثل "drill in the rules".

The teacher drilled in the safety rules every day.

المعلم كان **يرسّخ** قواعد السلامة يوميًا.

Parents drill in good manners from a young age.

الآباء **يرسخون** السلوكيات الجيدة منذ الصغر.

They tried to drill in the importance of honesty.
