何かや誰かが時間や距離的に近づいてくることを表します。特に行事や季節などが迫ってくるときによく使います。

ややフォーマルで文語的なニュアンス。季節やイベントが「近づく」ときによく使われます。「絵を描く」という意味では使いません。
