Definition

কিছু একটি বড় এলাকা বা বহু মানুষের মধ্যে ছড়িয়ে পড়া; কোনো কিছুর ঘনত্ব না থাকা। আলো, গন্ধ বা ধারণাসমূহের বিস্তারের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

বিজ্ঞান, আলো, গন্ধ, তথ্য ইত্যাদিতে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়; মানুষের জন্য কদাচিৎ প্রযোজ্য। 'diffused light', 'diffused tension', 'diffused information' এগুলো সাধারণ উদাহরণ।
