敗北主義者とは、失敗や敗北を当然と考えて、成功をあきらめてしまう人のことです。また、投げやりな否定的な考え方も指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
多くは否定的な意味で、人を批判するときに使います。「defeatist attitude（敗北主義的な態度）」や「defeatist thinking」といった使い方が一般的です。日常会話ではあまり使いません。
