কোনো আইন বা কার্যকলাপ দেশের সংবিধানের সঙ্গে সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ কিনা তা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

প্রধানত আইনি বা শাসনতান্ত্রিক আলোচনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'question', 'challenge', 'test', বা 'court' শব্দের সাথে সাধারণত ব্যবহার হয়। সাধারণ কথোপকথনে ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
